Anaheim Multi-Vehicle Accident on 5 Freeway at Harbor Boulevard Ends in Fatality

 
ANAHEIM, CA (August 31, 2021) – At least one person was killed in a multi-vehicle accident on 5 Freeway in Anaheim late Monday evening.
 
The accident happened around 10:07 p.m. on August 30, at the Harbor Boulevard off-ramp. According to the Anaheim Police Department, a black truck, a gray van, a white Ford Explorer and a possible fourth vehicle collided for unknown reasons.
 
Officers arrived and found at least one fatality as a result of the accident. The identity of the victim was not immediately available.
 
Crews closed two freeway lanes while they worked on the wreckage.
 
The cause of this fatal crash and factors involved remain under investigation.
