Motorcyclist Dies after Colliding with Vehicle on Whittier Boulevard in East LA

 
EAST LOS ANGELES, CA (July 11, 2022) – One person was killed in a motorcycle accident at Whitter Boulevard and Atlantic Boulevard in East Los Angeles on Sunday evening.
 
The fatal accident happened around 9:48 p.m. on July 10. According to the California Highway Patrol, the motorcycle collided with a vehicle at the intersection.
 
When officers arrived, they found the rider lying on the ground, unresponsive and bleeding.
 
Despite life-saving efforts, the rider died at the scene. The victim was not yet identified.
 
It is unclear at this time if the involved driver stayed after the crash.
 
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
