39-Year-Old Skateboarder Suffers Fractured Skull after Crash with Car on Wightman Street in North Park

 
NORTH PARK, CA (July 11, 2022) – A 39-year-old man was seriously injured in a skateboard accident on Wightman Street in the North Park neighborhood on Friday evening.
 
The accident happened around 10:30 on July 8, according to the San Diego Police Department. The skateboarder was skating westbound in the 2500 block of Wightman Street.
 
After he left the sidewalk, he collided with a northbound car on Arnold Avenue.
 
As a result of the accident, the man sustained a fractured skull and brain bleed.
 
Meanwhile, the 46-year-old female driver of the car was unharmed.
