Rider Dies after Colliding with Vehicle on Golden State Freeway in Los Angeles County

 
LOS ANGELES COUNTY, CA (October 26, 2021) – One person was killed in a motorcycle accident on Golden State (5) Freeway in Los Angeles County Sunday morning.
 
The accident happened around 5:24 a.m. on October 24, just north of the Foothill (210) Freeway. According to the California Highway Patrol, the 42-year-old victim from Stevenson Ranch was riding a 2000 Honda CBR 600 northbound when he collided with a pickup truck while changing lanes.
 
The rider was thrown from the bike and into traffic lanes. While lying in the roadway, several passing vehicles struck him. He died at the scene.
 
The CHP’s Newhall area office urged anyone with information to call them at 661-600-1600.
