Motorcyclist Dies after Colliding with Big Rig on 10 Freeway in Whitewater

 
WHITEWATER, CA (September 5, 2023) – One person was killed in a motorcycle accident on 10 Freeway just east of Whitewater on Saturday afternoon.
 
The fatal accident happened around 1:00 p.m. on September 2. According to the California Highway Patrol, the victim was riding their motorcycle when they collided with a big rig.
 
As a result of the crash, the motorcyclist suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
 
Another person was taken to a hospital with minor injuries. It was unclear if that person was the driver of the big rig.
 
The cause of the crash and factors involved are still under investigation.
