Deadly Hit-and-Run Crash on West 60th Street in South LA Involves Two Vehicles

 
SOUTH LOS ANGELES, CA (January 8, 2024) – One person was killed in a hit-and-run crash on West 60th Street in South Los Angeles Saturday evening on January 6.
 
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, two vehicles collided in the 200 block of West 60th Street around 9:25 p.m. After the crash, one of the drivers fled the scene before authorities arrived.
 
Responding firefighters found the other driver trapped in the wreckage. They rushed the driver to a hospital, where the victim died.
 
At this time, the identity of the victim was not immediately available.
 
Police are still investigating the crash and searching for the hit-and-run suspect.
