RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CA (July 13, 2021) – At least one person died in hit-and-run crash on 10 Freeway in Rancho Cucamonga early Tuesday morning.
 
The fatal crash happened around 2:13 a.m. on July 13, at the intersection with Sixth Street. CHP officials did not indicate how many vehicles or parties involved, but they confirmed at least one fatality as a result of the crash.
 
The Orange County Sheriff’s Coroner will release the victim’s identity after notifying next of kin.

At this time, it is still unknown if drugs or alcohol was a factor. The California Highway Patrol is investigating this fatality.
