PALMDALE, CA (March 28, 2022) – One person was killed and four others were injured in a head-on accident on 50th Street East in Palmdale on Sunday morning.
 
The accident happened around 11:25 a.m. on March 27 just north of Avenue N. According to the California Highway Patrol, two vehicles collided head-on for unknown reasons.
 
The Los Angeles County Fire Department responded and confirmed one fatality as a result of the accident. The identity of the deceased victim was not immediately available.
 
Paramedics transported four people other to a hospital with unspecified injuries.
 
Officers added that at least two people were trapped inside a vehicle.
 
At this time, it is unclear if drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash. An investigation is ongoing.
