Fiery Accident on Maple Avenue in Los Angeles Ends in Fatality
LOS ANGELES, CA (May 7, 2022) – At least one person was killed in a fiery accident at Maple Avenue and East 18th Street in Los Angeles on Tuesday afternoon.
The accident happened around 3:34 p.m. on May 3. According to the Los Angeles Police Department, a vehicle had crashed into a wall and a power pole. The impact caused the vehicle to burst into flames.
Los Angeles Fire Department crews responded and found several parties trapped inside the vehicle. Despite life-saving measures were performed, but at least one person died at the scene.
The identity of the victim was not immediately available.
At this time, the exact cause of the crash and factors involved remain under investigation.
