Car Accident on Lakeshore Drive in Lake Elsinore Kills 1 and Badly Injures Another

 
LAKE ELSINORE, CA (July 6, 2021) – One person died in a car accident on Lakeshore Drive at Ohio Street late Thursday evening.
 
The accident happened around 11:57 p.m. on July 1. According to the Riverside County Fire Department, a vehicle had crashed into a wall for unknown reasons.
 
Responding firefighters found two people inside the car. One patient suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene.
 
Paramedics took the other patient to a hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
 
No other information was immediately available at this time. The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department is investigating the cause and factors involved.
