One Injured in Rollover Accident on 14 Freeway [Santa Clarita, CA]

At Least One Hospitalized after Rollover Crash on 14 Freeway

 
SANTA CLARITA, CA (November 2, 2021) — One person suffered injuries in a rollover accident on 14 Freeway on Saturday, October 30.
 
According to Ed Pickett with the Los Angeles Fire Department, the incident occurred on the southbound 14 Freeway at Golden Valley Road at around 12:37 p.m.
 
Pickett said they received reports of the two vehicles that overturned. Two paramedic units responded to the area.
 
The initial reports said that there may be some people trapped in the incident.
 
At about 1:10 p.m., medics rushed at least one person to the hospital with sustained injuries. However, it is still unclear how many and in what condition. The extent of the injuries is not released.
 
When the medics arrived on the scene, they said one passenger lay down on the embankment next to the car that overturned. The vehicle allegedly collided into a light pole.
 
The exposed wires from the light pole became a hazard to the public. Officials then blocked the traffic and tried to correct the issue.
