Pedestrian Attempting to Stop Robbery Hurt in Accident on Sandalia Drive in Santa Clarita

 
SANTA CLARITA, CA (November 3, 2021) – Police confirmed that one person suffered injuries in a pedestrian accident in the 25000 block of Sandalia Drive on October 30.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at approximately 12:10 PM.
 
Based on an initial report, the victim was trying to stop a robbery suspect from taking a case of water outside their home prior to the crash. Subsequently, the suspect in a black Audi hit the victim. Then, the suspect fled the scene into westbound Sandalia.
 
As a result, the victim was hurt in the incident. The Los Angeles County Fire Department said the patient did not require hospitalization.
 
At this point, the Santa Clarita Sheriff’s Station is still investigating the incident. Also, no other details are available.
