BAKERSFIELD, CA (February 11, 2021) — One person was injured in a pedestrian accident on Kern Canyon Road at Shalane Avenue Tuesday evening.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the pedestrian crash took place around 6:30 p.m.
 
Under unknown circumstances, a driver struck one person on the road. Shortly after, police responded to the scene to find the person lying in the westbound lanes.
