One Hurt in Norwalk Multi-Car Crash on 105 Freeway
NORWALK, CA (June 30, 2021) — One person was injured in a multi-car accident on the 105 Freeway near the 605 Freeway early Saturday.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the multi-vehicle collision happened around 3:25 a.m. For unknown reasons, a driver lost control and slammed into the center divider of the transition road from the 105 Freeway to the 605 Freeway. Due to this crash, at least five other vehicles collided in an unknown manner.
Shortly thereafter, paramedics arrived and rushed the person involved in the initial crash to St. Francis Medical Center in Lynwood for treatment of major injuries.
At this time, officers have not confirmed the ultimate explanation of this accident. Although, if witnesses have more to add to this crash, please turn to the CHP.
