NEWHALL, CA (April 29, 2024) – At least one person was hospitalized in a two-car accident on Sierra Highway in Newhall Friday morning on April 26.
 
The accident happened around 9:20 a.m. at Placerita Canyon Road. According to the Los Angeles County Fire Department, two cars collided at the intersection, one of them struck a light pole.
 
First responders took at least one person to a hospital with unspecified injuries.
 
It is unknown if drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash. An investigation is underway.
