VISTA, CA (August 11, 2021) – Emergency crews transported one person to the hospital following a motorcycle accident on East Vista Way on August 6.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened at Townsite Drive around 1:22 AM.
 
Based on reports, the motorcyclist was traveling on East Vista at the time of the crash. Due to unknown reasons, it broadsided a BMW that was making a left turn from Townsite.
 
As a result, the 31-year-old male rider sustained serious injuries in the incident. Paramedics rushed him to Palomar Medical Center for treatment.
 
Officials said the driver of the BMW, a 24-year-old man, was not under the influence at that time. However, this motorcycle accident on East Vista Way is still under investigation by the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department.
