High-Speed Chase Leads to Crash on Swift Avenue in Fresno

 
FRESNO, CA (March 20, 2021) – Crews sent one person to the hospital after a high-speed chase ended in a crash on Swift Avenue on March 18.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened at Barton Avenue at approximately 11:00 PM.
 
Based on a report, deputies initially pulled over a white Hyundai. When they approached the vehicle, the driver sped off. Subsequently, a chase began and officers said the driver reached speeds of nearly 90 miles per hour. Then, the vehicle hit a parked car near Swift. At that time, two people got out and tried to run away.
 
One of the suspects, a female passenger, hit her head. Crews transported her to a Fresno hospital for treatment. No one else was hurt in the crash.
 
In the end, police arrested the driver of the vehicle along with his passenger. Currently, Fresno police are investigating this crash on Swift Avenue.
