SANTA CLARITA, CA (July 21, 2022) – Emergency crews transported one person to the hospital following a bicycle accident on Soledad Canyon Road on July 18.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at the Rainbow Market near Rainbow Glen Drive around 2:18 PM.
 
Based on a report, the bicycle was at the intersection when it collided with a vehicle. Subsequently, first responders received reports of a cyclist down on the road.
 
As a result, the victim sustained injuries in the incident. Crews with the Los Angeles County Fire Department transported the patient to the hospital with unknown injuries.
 
In addition, officers closed all eastbound lanes of Soledad Canyon Road while a rescue operation took place.
