Three-Vehicle Collision on 10 Freeway Causes Injuries

 
PALM DESERT, CA (April 17, 2023) — On Sunday morning, the Riverside County Fire Department responded to the scene of a three-car collision on 10 Freeway in Palm Desert.
 
The incident happened around 7:50 a.m. based on reports. Upon arriving at the scene, firefighters found one person trapped inside a vehicle and had to do necessary and careful extrication. Additionally, paramedics transported two more people to a nearby hospital by ground ambulance. Meanwhile, a third person, who the paramedics attended at the scene, declined further medical evaluation.
 
Officials have not yet released the names of those involved. They are also conducting further investigation on the cause and circumstances leading to the multi-vehicle accident.
