SAN BERNARDINO, CA (October 5, 2021) – Police confirmed that one died in a pedestrian accident on 215 Freeway on October 3.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened near the Palm Avenue exit around 2:10 AM.
 
Based on an initial report, the pedestrian was on the lane at the time of the crash. Due to unknown reasons, a white Nissan Altima came and hit the victim.
 
As a result, the pedestrian died when officers and medical crews arrived. Officials did not yet release the deceased’s identity, pending kin notification.
 
In addition, the crash prompted a closure of the northbound lanes of the freeway.
 
After the incident, the driver of the vehicle stayed at the scene and cooperated with the police officials. At this point, this pedestrian accident on 215 Freeway is currently under investigation by the California Highway Patrol San Bernardino Inland Office. Also, no other details are available.
