Fatal Big Rig Crash on Highway 12 near Tower Park Way
LODI, CA (March 17, 2022) — One person died in a big rig accident on Highway 12 at around 4:45 a.m. on Wednesday, March 16.
According to California Highway Patrol, the crash involving a sedan and a big rig took place on Highway 12 near Tower Park Way. The area is just east of the town of Terminous in rural San Joaquin County.
CHP said one person in the sedan died. Officials will release their identity after notification of loved ones.
The driver of the big rig had minor injuries.
A CHP official believe the big rig hauled hazardous material. However, it appeared there was no spill in the crash.
