Train Crashes into Vehicle on North Avenue 59 in Highland Park Leaving One Person in Critical Condition

 
HIGHLAND PARK, CA (February 9, 2023) – One person was critically injured in a train accident on North Avenue 59 in Highland Sunday afternoon.
 
Around 5:00 p.m. on February 5, a Metro Gold Line train crashed into a vehicle at 202 North Avenue 59, according to Los Angeles Fire Department.
 
The impact caused critical injuries on one person inside the vehicle. It is unclear if the patient was the driver or a passenger.
 
There were no injuries sustained in the train.
