7 Vehicles Collide on Coldwater Canyon Avenue in Valley Glen Leaving 1 Person in Critical Condition

 
VALLEY GLEN, CA (April 16, 2023) – One person was critically injured in a multi-vehicle accident on Coldwater Canyon Avenue in Valley Glen Friday evening on April 14.
 
The accident happened shortly before 10:00 p.m. just south of Vanowen Street. According to the Los Angeles Police Department, a Lamborghini Urus SUV and six other vehicles collided. At least one of the cars was traveling at a high rate of speed prior to the crash.
 
Sky5 images show debris scattered across the roadway just south of Vanowen Street. The Lamborghini was destroyed and stopped in the center of the road.
 
Four parked cars and three active cars were believed to be involved.
 
Paramedics rushed one person to a local hospital in critical condition.
 
It is unknown if drugs or alcohol was a factor. The circumstances of the crash remain under investigation.
