9-Car Crash on Alicia Parkway in Mission Viejo

 
MISSION VIEJO, CA (September 14, 2022) – One person was critically injured in a 9-car accident on Alicia Parkway in Mission Viejo on Saturday afternoon, September 10.
 
The accident happened shortly after 12:00 p.m. at Jeronimo Road. According to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office, nine vehicles collided in the area in unclear circumstances.
 
Deputies responded and found a total of five people with injuries from the crash.
 
Two people were transported to the hospital, one of them was in critical condition.
 
As the Sheriff’s major accident reconstruction team works to investigate the scene, major roads were closed for several hours.
