Pickup Truck Rolls Over on Cohasset Road in Butte County, DUI Suspect Arrested

 
BUTTE COUNTY, CA (April 23, 2023) – One person was arrested after a DUI rollover crash on Cohasset Road in Butte County Wednesday afternoon on April 19.
 
The crash happened around 3:01 p.m. near Sigler Lane. According to the California Highway Patrol, a white Dodge Ram pickup truck lost control and rolled over before it landed upside down.
 
Officers arrived and found the male driver with minor injuries to his forehead. His female passenger was unhurt.
 
During the investigation, officers located a firearm at the scene of the crash that belonged to the male driver of the vehicle.
 
The CHP said the male is not allowed to possess a firearm, so there will be a felony charge pending for the driver. They also arrested the driver for driving under the influence.
 
Further investigation is underway.
