Morning Traffic Accident on 110 Freeway in South LA Kills 23-Year-Old Man

 
SOUTH LOS ANGELES, CA (January 15, 2023) – Omar Cruz Barrera was killed in a traffic accident on 110 Freeway in South Los Angeles Friday morning on January 13.
 
The fatal accident happened around 6:14 a.m. near Slauson Avenue. CHP officials did not provide details of how the crash occurred but one person died at the scene.
 
The Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office identified Barrera as a the fatal victim. He was 23 years old. His city of residence was not immediately known.
 
The California Highway Patrol is still investigating the circumstances surrounding the accident.
