Nora Barrie Dies in Motorcycle Crash on Highway 20 near 22nd Street

 
MARYSVILLE, CA (August 10, 2023) — Nora Barrie died in a motorcycle accident on Highway 20 near 22nd Street Saturday.
 
According to the Marysville Police Department, the deadly motorcycle collision happened around 2:47 p.m. For an unknown reason, a southbound motorcycle crashed into an SUV turning left onto East 22nd Street from Highway 20. As a result, 60-year-old Nora Ann Kibbe Barrie, the motorcyclist, died.
 
Soon after, law enforcement and emergency personnel arrived and pronounced her deceased at the scene. Reports did not say if any occupants in the SUV were injured.
 
At this time, officers do not know what led to the crash. However, they do not believe impairment played a role.
