Noelle Rivera Killed in Car Accident on Highway 89 [Alpine County, CA]

Early Morning Crash on Highway 89 Kills Fair Oaks Woman and Injures 2 Children

 
ALPINE COUNTY, CA (November 15, 2022) – Noelle Elizabeth Rivera was killed in a car accident in Alpine County early Monday morning on November 14.
 
The accident happened just before 4:30 a.m. near Picketts Junction. According to the California Highway Patrol, a 2019 Hyundai sedan was heading south near Picketts Junction when it went off the roadway. It then crashed into a small boulder.
 
Rivera, who was the driver of the car, suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene. She was 33 years old from Fair Oaks.
 
Two children, ages 9 and 7, were flown to a Reno hospital with moderate to major injuries.
 
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
