Rider Dies after Colliding with SUV on Winter Gardens Boulevard
WINTER GARDENS, CA (April 19, 2022) – A motorcyclist was killed in a traffic accident on Winter Gardens Boulevard on Sunday afternoon.
The accident happened just before 3:40 p.m. on April 17 near Sapota Drive. According to the California Highway Patrol, a 2008 Chevrolet Blazer SUV and a motorcycle collided for unknown reasons.
As a result of the crash, the motorcyclist suffered significant injuries.
San Diego County Sheriff’s Deputies responded and pronounced the motorcyclist dead at the scene.
At this time, the identity of the victim was withheld pending family notification. It is also unclear if drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash.
