BUTTONWILLOW, CA (February 25, 2024) – A motorcyclist was killed in a traffic accident on Highway 58 in Buttonwillow Friday afternoon on February 23.
 
The fatal accident happened just before 3:00 p.m. at Brandt Road. According to the California Highway Patrol, a Dodge pickup truck and a motorcycle collided for unknown reasons.
 
The impact caused the motorcyclist fatal injuries and they died at the scene.
 
At this time, the identity of the victim was not immediately available.
