Rider Dies after Crash Involving Hit-and-Run Driver on H Street in Chula Vista

 
CHULA VISTA, CA (December 13, 2023) – A motorcyclist was killed in a hit-and-run crash on H Street in Chula Vista Monday evening on December 11.
 
According to the Chula Vista Police Department, the motorcyclist and multiple vehicles collided around 8:31 p.m.
 
First responders found the motorcyclist on the eastbound lane of H Street with major trauma. They attempted life-saving measures, but the motorcyclist died at the scene.
 
A white SUV drove away from the scene after striking the motorcyclist. Two other involved vehicles remained at the scene.
 
It is unknown at this time if drugs or alcohol was a factor. Police urged anyone with further information to contact the CVPD at 619-476-5303.
