DUI Suspect Causes Crash on 80 Freeway in Sacramento Killing Man in His 60s

 
SACRAMENTO, CA (December 13, 2023) – A man was killed in a DUI crash on 80 Freeway in Sacramento early Sunday morning on December 10.
 
The fatal crash happened around 12:15 a.m. just east of Madison Avenue. According to the California Highway Patrol, a man in his 20s was driving under the influence when he rear-ended another car.
 
As a result, the driver of the other car, a man in his 60s, died at the scene.
 
Officers arrested the first driver on suspicion of DUI.
 
Further investigation is underway.
