Driver Wanted in Fatal Hit-And-Run on Crenshaw Boulevard in Hyde Park Area

 
LOS ANGELES, CA (April 10, 2021) – A motorcyclist was killed in a hit-and-run accident on Crenshaw Boulevard in the Hyde Park area Thursday, April 1.
 
The crash happened around 2:35 p.m. near Westmount Avenue, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
 
A black Ford Flex was traveling southbound on Crenshaw Boulevard when the SUV hit the rear of the moped, throwing the rider to the pavement, police said.

Responding paramedics rushed the rider to a hospital, where he died two days later. His name was withheld pending notification of his relatives.

Meanwhile, the involved driver did not stop after the crash and remains at large.

The city of Los Angeles offered a standing reward of up to $50,000 for information that helps solve this fatal hit-and-run.
