Hit-and-Run Crash on 15 Freeway in Cajon Pass Leaves Rider Injured

 
CAJON PASS, CA (March 31, 2022) – A motorcyclist was injured in a hit-and-run crash on 15 Freeway in the Cajon Pass on Thursday, March 24.
 
The crash happened at about 6:10 p.m. along the northbound freeway, just north of Kenwood Avenue. According to the California Highway Patrol, a man was riding his motorcycle when he collided when a vehicle.
 
After the crash, the driver of the vehicle fled the scene without rendering aid.
 
A CalFire Chief in the area responded and tended to the injured rider that was down in the center divider. The rider was alert and seemed to have sustained a leg injury.
 
A ground ambulance transported the rider to a hospital for treatment.
 
An investigation into this crash is ongoing.
