Christian Flores Killed in Head-On Accident on Sierra Highway [Acton, CA]

Wrong-Way Driver Dies after Colliding Head-On with Another Vehicle in Acton

 
ACTON, CA (March 31, 2022) – Christian Flores was killed in a head-on accident in Acton, early Wednesday morning.
 
The accident happened around 4:50 a.m. on March 30, along Sierra Highway south of San Gabriel Avenue. According to the California Highway Patrol, Flores was driving a Honda on the wrong side of the road when he collided head-on with a Nissan, driven by 38-year-old Vicente Gonzalez of Palmdale.
 
As a result, Flores sustained fatal injuries and died at the scene. He was a 24-year-old Palmdale resident.
 
Meanwhile, Gonzalez suffered major injuries and was taken to a hospital for treatment.
 
It is unknown if drugs or alcohol played a factor in the crash. Further investigation is underway.
