Three-Car Accident on Ophir Road in Oroville Causes Minor Injuries

 
OROVILLE, CA (February 26, 2024) – Minor injuries were reported after a three-car accident on Ophir Road at Feather River Boulevard in Oroville Friday on February 23.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, a pickup truck was traveling northbound on Power House Hill Road when the driver did not safely cross Ophir Road. The pickup truck then crashed into an SUV that was traveling westbound.
 
The impact of the initial crash caused both vehicles to spin out of control. Both then crashed into a driver attempting to turn eastbound onto Ophir Road from southbound Feather River Boulevard.
 
People in the SUV driving westbound were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
 
The number of injured patients was not immediately known.
 
The crash is still under investigation.
