Minor Injuries, 3 Semi-Trucks Collide on 15 Freeway in Cajon Pass

 
CAJON PASS, CA (August 25, 2022) — Minor injuries were reported after three semi-trucks crashed on the 15 Freeway near Highway 138.
 
According to reports, the triple truck accident happened around 12:33 p.m. on Wednesday. Just north of Highway 138, three big rigs, including a UPS truck, collided. At some point, a silver Toyota 4Runner also crashed into one of the semi-trucks.
 
Soon after, authorities arrived and found the trailer of the UPS on its wheels with the cab separated from the truck. According to reports a Good Samaritan climbed on top of the cab to check on the driver before First Responders arrived.
 
Due to the accident, California Highway Patrol officers closed down the No. 1, 2, 3 and 4 lanes due to the cleanup. Authorities reported only minor injuries in the accident.
