Miguel Fragoza Charged in DUI Crash at 14th Street and Lime Street

 
RIVERSIDE, CA (January 31, 2022) — Miguel Fragoza faces charges in a DUI, hit-and-run accident at 14th Street and Lime Street on Friday.
 
According to Riverside Police, the two-vehicle crash happened early Friday morning. For DUI-related reasons, 27-year-old Miguel Gamboa Fragoza blew through a red traffic light while heading southbound on Lime Street. Subsequently, his Honda CRV slammed into a Ford prisoner transport van, causing it to roll over.
 
Shortly after, paramedics transported an officer and three arrestees to a hospital with minor complaints of pain. As for Fragoza, he had left the scene immediately after the crash. However, with the help of a debris trail and the Honda’s license plate that was left at the scene, officers became successful in detaining him.
 
At this time, he remains booked at Robert Presley Detention Center on suspicion of DUI resulting in injuries and hit and run.
