Simone Palmer, Crystal Ramirez Dead in Car Accident on Avenue K-8 and Business Center Parkway

 
LANCASTER, CA (January 31, 2022) — Crystal Ramirez and Simone Palmer, both 33, died in a solo car crash on Friday, January 28.
 
According to the Lancaster Sheriff’s Station, the incident occurred at about 1:58 a.m. near the intersection of Avenue K-8 and Business Center Parkway.
 
The initial investigation determined a Volkswagen moved southbound on Business Center Parkway towards Avenue K-8. Palmer, who was the driver of the Volkswagen, lost control and crashed into a tree.
 
Paramedics rushed the passenger Ramirez, dead at the scene.
 
Medics rushed Palmer to the hospital, where she later died.
 
Officials continue to investigate the incident. It is still unknown if alcohol or drugs contributed to the crash.
