Michelle Johnson Dead after DUI Accident on Woodland Avenue at Yellowstone Avenue

 
MODESTO, CA (March 18, 2022) — Officials identified 38-year-old Michelle Johnson as the deceased person in a DUI crash on Sunday, March 13.
 
According to Modesto Police, Johnson tried to cross Woodland Avenue at Yellowstone Avenue on her bike. Then a 2017 Acura ILX struck her at around 5:45 p.m.
 
Medics rushed her to the hospital, but she ultimately died from sustained injuries.
 
Officers arrested the Acura driver – 51-year-old Christina Castillo– on suspicion of DUI.
 
The events surrounding the incident are still under investigation.
