Michael Figone Dies, George Turner Involved in Deadly Motorcycle, Mail Service Truck Collision on Marina Drive at Alisa Lane
HOPE RANCH, CA (May 4, 2023) — Michael Figone died in a motorcycle accident, involving a postal mail truck, on Marina Drive at Alisa Lane.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the two-vehicle accident happened around 4:45 p.m. Tuesday. Under unclear circumstances, 33-year-old George Turner made a turn on Alisa Lane. Subsequently, an eastbound Yamaha motorcycle, operated by 45-year-old Michael Joseph Figone, crashed into the side of Turner’s USPS truck and was ejected onto the road.
Turner, uninjured, stayed for the investigation. Figone, of Santa Barbara, however, died at the scene.
