Police Arrest Matthew Lyons for DUI after Crash in Rohnert Park

 
ROHNERT PARK, CA (October 14, 2022) – Police arrested Matthew Lyons after a DUI crash in Rohnert Park on Tuesday evening, October 11.
 
The crash happened around 8:35 p.m. on State Farm Drive. According to the Rohnert Park Department of Public Safety, the 31-year-old suspect from Healdsburg was driving a white Subaru sedan when he entered the southbound lane into the path of a gray Subaru sedan. The two cars then collided, causing the gray Subaru to roll over on its side.
 
First responders extricated the female driver of the overturned car, a 57-year-old Santa Rosa resident, through the car’s front windshield.
 
The woman was then transported to a nearby hospital with moderate injuries.
 
Police arrested Lyons on suspicion of two felony counts, DUI resulting in bodily injury and DUI resulting in bodily injury with a blood alcohol level over 0.08%. They booked him in the Sonoma County jail after medical clearance.
