Rollover Crash on 15 Freeway in Fallbrook Kills Driver and Passenger

 
FALLBROOK, CA (September 13, 2023) – A man and a woman were killed in a rollover accident on 15 Freeway in Fallbrook early Sunday morning on September 10.
 
The fatal accident happened around 1:30 a.m. near Mission Road. According to the CHP, the 32-year-old man was driving a Lexus NX350 with the 28-year-old woman as his passenger.
 
For unknown reasons, the car veered off the freeway and overturned.
 
First responders pronounced both the driver and passenger dead at the scene. The San Diego County Medical Examiner’s Office withheld their identities at this time.
 
CHP officials is still investigating the cause of the crash and whether alcohol or drugs were a factor. They asked anyone with further information to call them at 760-643-3400.
