Man, Woman Hospitalized in 2-Car Crash on 50th Street in Palmdale

 
PALMDALE, CA (July 5, 2022) — A man and a woman were injured in a car accident on 50th Street and Avenue P early Sunday.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the two-vehicle accident happened around 1:40 a.m. For unknown reasons, a driver in a Dodge Charger ran a posted stop sign and struck a Hyundai Santa Fe attempting a turn from eastbound Avenue P onto southbound 50th Street.
 
Responding authorities found a male rear-seat passenger of the Hyundai Sonata in the street and a female passenger of the Dodge Charger with injuries. Fortunately, a man and a woman in the Santa Fe and a man and an infant in the Dodge Charger escaped injury.
