Pedestrian accidents happen when people are distracted. If you need to cross the road, use a traffic light or a pedestrian crosswalk. Jaywalking, especially at night and in poorly lit areas, increases the dangers. Drivers may not see you or stop in time. Remember the risks and always play it safe.
