Hit-and-Run Driver Strikes 22-Year-Old Man on National Avenue in Logan Heights

 
LOGAN HEIGHTS, CA (April 16, 2023) – A man was severely injured in a hit-and-run crash on National Avenue in the Logan Heights area Thursday evening on April 13.
 
According to the San Diego Police Department, the 22-year-old man was walking in the south alley of 2900 National Avenue when he heard a vehicle driving behind him. The vehicle that was going eastbound in the alley struck the pedestrian around 9:30 p.m.
 
The driver fled the scene after the crash.
 
First responders rushed the man to a nearby hospital with severe injuries.
 
Police were unable to locate any witnesses related to the hit-and-run crash and the victim was not able to identify the vehicle.
