Pedestrian Suffers Serious Injuries after Hit by Car while Crossing Rosecrans Street in Midway District

 
MIDWAY DISTRICT, CA (April 1, 2022) – A 62-year-old man was seriously injured in a pedestrian accident on Rosecrans Street in Midway District on Wednesday night.
 
The accident happened around 6:45 p.m. on March 30. According to the San Diego Police Department, the man was attempting to cross the street when a northbound 2016 Volkswagen sedan struck him.
 
When officers arrived, they found the man lying in the roadway. The victim sustained multiple fractures as a result of the crash.
 
Paramedics transported the patient to a hospital for proper treatment.
 
The driver of the Volkswagen, a 46-year-old man, remained on scene and cooperated with officers.
