One Killed in Two-Vehicle Accident on 15 Freeway at Jurupa Avenue [Ontario, CA]

Early Morning Two-Vehicle Accident on 15 Freeway in Ontario Ends in Fatality

 
ONTARIO, CA (April 1, 2022) – At least one person was killed in a two-vehicle accident on 15 Freeway in Ontario, early Thursday morning.
 
The accident happened around 12:56 a.m. on March 31 just south of Jurupa Avenue. According to CHP, a white Dodge sedan was traveling recklessly at a high rate of speed when it collided with a white Chevrolet pickup truck. Both vehicles spun out from the impact. The sedan then overturned several times down into an embankment.
 
Officers added that one of the vehicles burst into flames.
 
Ontario Fire Department crews responded and confirmed one fatality as a result of the crash. The identity of the victim was not immediately available.
 
Meanwhile, one of the parties involved was under the influence of alcohol and was refusing to go to the hospital.
 
At this time, this fatal crash is still under investigation.
