Pedestrian Suffers Serious Injuries after Hit by Car on Highway 101 in Paso Robles

 
PASO ROBLES, CA (February 29, 2024) – A man was seriously injured in a pedestrian accident on Highway 101 in Paso Robles Monday night on February 26.
 
The accident happened around 6:40 p.m. just south of the Highway 46 off-ramp. According to the California Highway Patrol, the 40-year-old Paso Robles man was in the lanes of traffic when a northbound Nissan sedan hit him.
 
Paramedics responded and rushed the man to a hospital with serious injuries.
 
A passenger in the car suffered minor injuries in the crash but did not seek medical attention. The driver was not injured.
 
CHP officials said the pedestrian is suspected to have been under the influence of alcohol at the time of the crash.
 
An investigation is underway.
