35-Year-Old Rider Hospitalized after Motorcycle Accident on Lamont Street near Beryl Street

 
PACIFIC BEACH, CA (October 18, 2021) – A 35-year-old man sustained serious injuries in a motorcycle accident on Lamont Street, Friday evening.
 
According to the San Diego Police Department, the incident happened on October 15, at about 7:10 p.m. As per reports, a Kia Soul entered the intersection and made a turn to go east on Beryl Street.
 
Then, the vehicle hit a 2021 Harley-Davidson motorcycle that was northbound in the 4900 block of Lamont Street.
 
Paramedics rushed the motorcyclist to a local hospital for treatment of a fractured leg and pelvis. Meanwhile, the Kia driver did not sustain injuries in the collision.
 
San Diego police continue to investigate the cause of the accident. Officers will release additional information once it becomes available.
